need uninstall/reformat help
Even though I selected Ia clean install of Windows XP, Windows 2000 is still on my hard drive. Can anybody help me either to uninstall Windows 2000, or better yet, to wipe everything out, incl. Windows XP and reformat my hd (NTFS)? Any help would be greatly appreciated. thanks, Martin.

Just for fun wanted to see how IEradicator works, took 2 reboots to kinda work, BUT how do i uninstall OE 6 to reinstall IE 5.01 to hopefully give me back web content on windows 2000 any takers????? Someday there will a MS OS that doesn't require a reinstall or, worse, a reformat, to fix problems.

I don't need this file because I think I've screwed up the uninstall so badly that restoring this file would only bring up an error on the next one in the list. All I want to do is to boot up and reformat this drive withput NT trying to start. Like I said I have no nt boot disk or install cd to boot from.

There is NO command or program to uninstall WinXP! The closest is the Add/Remove Programs option to revert to Win9x/ME IF you installed WinXP by upgrading from one of those AND you chose to save the old OS files. This doesn't apply to your situation, so forget it. There is NO NEED to uninstall WinXP. Just reformat
